Our Story

Ever since I was a kid, cooking has been in my blood. I was inspired by my mother, who ran a food catering business back home. I became her salesman and delivery guy, and from those early days, I dreamed of having my own food business—whether it was a food truck or a restaurant.

For a while, I worked in a finance company. Although I was happy in my career, my heart was still set on bringing my dream to life. That’s why, on the auspicious day of Gudi Padwa in April 2019, Bombay Corner was born in the industrial area of Delft. At first, we opened only on weekends, since I was still working full-time. But with the overflowing love and support from our customers, in 2022 I decided to take a leap of faith—leaving my job to focus fully on Bombay Corner.

For the past 6 years, Bombay Corner has continued to receive compliments for its authentic Indian taste that touches the heart. What makes us truly special is that our unique blend of spices is still lovingly made by Maata (Mother) back in India. Her traditional recipes and hand-ground masalas bring an authentic flavor that connects every dish to our roots.

Now, as we celebrate our 6th anniversary on Gudi Padwa 2025, we are thrilled to announce the next exciting chapter: a move to the heart of the City Centre. Our new, more spacious location allows us to welcome even more guests and offer them an elevated fine dining experience.

This is more than just a restaurant. It’s my mother’s recipes and my passion, brought together for everyone to enjoy.
